Sam Levinson Is Trying To Blame Zendaya For The Delay Of Euphoria Season 3, Saying "She Was Too Focused On Her Movie Career"

Zendaya and “Euphoria” director Sam Levinson are gearing up to finally shoot the show’s long-delayed third season — but a while back, he was reportedly blaming her for holding up production.

Sam, who’s also the head writer and creator, took issue with Zendaya focusing on her movie career more than the hit HBO series, at least according to a source close to Sam who told THR … “It was all about her.”

Ummmm, excuse me Sam Levinson? I have a feeling this is NOT how things went down. When I think of Zendaya, the farthest thing from my mind is "its all about her." An absolute darling of the industry, Zendaya has been on top of the world for years. Sure, the argument can be made that Euphoria catapulted her to this point, but she doesn't strike me as someone who would abandon it for "the big screen," screwing an entire cast out of jobs for years at a time.

Anddddd...now we hear the other side!

Of course. Of COURSE weirdo Sam Levinson was too obsessed with The Idol - his pet project with The Weeknd (universally hated, although I enjoyed it). Lots of things have been said about Sam over the years, most of all the fact that he seems relatively difficult to work with when it comes to creativity. If he wants something one way, he's not open to notes. Even if the actors playing the characters feel uncomfortable. He's so obsessed with "pushing the envelope" and "shocking the world," and it looks like if he doesn't cool his jets? He could be looking at a bad reputation and a whole lot of NOTHING. I love Euphoria, I want it to come back just as much as the next guy, but is Sam just procrastinating because he doesn't know where the story is going to go, and passing the blame on the biggest star of the show? Spare me. Get a clue, dude.
